27 Oct Good news everyone!
The Norwegian Film Institute has decided to fund our project Among the Sleep with an additional 200.000 NOK! Again, we are able to reduce time spent on our unsatisfactory part time jobs in favor of game development. How privileged!
At the same time, the Norwegian ministry of culture recently announced that governmental videogame funding will be doubled during the next two years. A significant step towards games’ cultural value being recognized equal to other mediums.
Here is a picture of us celebrating with cake:
Other developers to receive funds this round were our friends at Moondrop for their promising title Amphora, awesome D-pad Studio for the project “Vikings on Trampolines“, Rock Pocket Games for the project “Gametracer“, Funcom and Stunlock Studios for “Project O“, Ravn Studio for a game about Pippi Langstrømpe, Virtual Game Worlds for “Helt vilt” and Agens for their interactive book “Bukkene Bruse“.
